Day 2 of the Shrine Bowl practices brought another round of standout performances, with players across positions showcasing their skills and boosting their draft stock. Here are four players who turned heads on the second day of practice:

1. Jimmy Horn Jr. (Colorado)
Jimmy Horn Jr. reminded everyone just how deep Colorado’s WR group was this season. He wowed scouts with his crisp route running and his ability to separate at the line of scrimmage effortlessly. Some scouts are even speculating that Horn’s strong showing could push him higher up draft boards than initially expected.
2. Cobee Bryant (Kansas)
Bryant’s energy was electric, chirping at every receiver he faced and backing it up with tight, lockdown coverage. He flashed excellent ball skills, including a standout interception and multiple pass breakups. His high football IQ and physicality made him a nightmare for opposing receivers.
3. Luke Lachey (Iowa)
The Iowa TE continued the program’s tradition of producing top-tier tight ends. Lachey showcased great route running and reliable hands, hauling in several impressive grabs throughout the day. His performance was a reminder of why Iowa has earned its reputation as “Tight End University.”
4. Alijah Huzzie (UNC)
Huzzie demonstrated his versatility by thriving in both outside and slot corner roles. His positional instincts and competitiveness stood out, as he consistently made life difficult for receivers. Huzzie’s ability to adapt and compete at a high level makes him a player to watch going forward.
