Saah Nimley has officially been named the head coach of Charleston Southern.
Nimley became Charleston Southern's interim head coach in late November when former head coach Barclay Radebaugh stepped away from the program.
Nimley played at Charleston Southern from 2011-2015 and is the Bucs' all-time assists leader and third-leading scorer. He joined Radebaugh's coaching staff in 2019 as an assistant coach, and then last summer, he was promoted to Associate Head Coach.
By Charleston Southern Athletics: Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics, Jeff Barber said "He understands CSU and the culture and DNA like nobody else does," said Barber as he detailed what went into the decision to select Nimley. "Saah not only knows the DNA and understands it more than anybody, he loves the DNA of this place, embraces it, and wants to be a part of it."
