Florida State secured the commitment of Class of 2023 three-star defensive back Ja’Bril Rawls from Pensacola Catholic High School in Pensacola (Fl.) on August 1st. After being committed to the Seminoles for about a week and a half, Rawls conducted a Q&A with NorvellCentral of Sidelines Sports Network.

Now that you have committed to Florida State, how does it feel to finally be apart of #Tribe23?
”It feels amazing and it’s a blessing. I’m thankful to be apart of #Tribe23!”
Before you announced your decision to commit to the Seminoles, what went into your decision to find the best school for you?
“God and my family mainly helped me. When my family visited with me for the first time, they loved it.”
Do you have any Florida State games circled on the calendar that you will be attending this season? Will you be taking visits to other schools?
“I have a couple in mind for this season (for FSU). Yeah, I will be taking visits to other schools.“
What stood out to you the most about Coach Norvell and Coach Woodson?
“How much love that they showed me and how they were being so upfront with me.“
What position do you except to play when you arrive to college?
“Either corner or safety.”
Do you have anything that you would like to say to the Florida State fans?
”I love you guys, let’s change this program around! Go Noles! 🍢🍢”
