Dave Patenaude has resigned from his role as offensive coordinator at Old Dominion, according to the athletic department. This comes just three weeks before the start of the season. The reasoning for his departure has not been made public.
Patenaude joined the Monarchs in January of this year and was previously offensive coordinator at Georgia Tech.
The program has not yet announced his replacement.
Old Dominion opens up the season for the Sun Belt Conference on September 2nd when they host Virginia Tech.
