The Texans and Chargers both like to play tough, style games and with lower scoring, both teams are comfortable playing in a game going into the 4th quarter being 13-13 or 17-17 Chargers simply have a more talented defense though and the better QB, if it comes down in a game like that Chargers will have an edge.
What Playmaker is going to show up?
The Offensive Weapons haven’t been the most consistent this year. Who will have a good game? Johnston, Mcckoney, Dissley?
Johnston needs to do what he did last week. That was a remarkable performance. I’m not saying to duplicate it because that is probably impossible, but why not a 5 catch 70 yard td performance from him. Something like that would go along the way in helping the Chargers win this game.
1. I think you all know what the biggest key to victory is going to be Justin. Herbert is simple. He’s been in this league for 5 seasons. We all know he’s a solid. It’s about time he did some winning and a very good opportunity awaits. Not saying he needs to go for 300 Yards yards 3 tds, but just do what he’s been doing all year. Be the best manager he can be and do not turn the ball over like he’s been doing. But who knows, maybe it’ll be a high scoring game. Maybe it’s a Stroud, Herbert Duel all afternoon Herbert will get himself some nice revenge from 2022 then A game that the chargers should have won in Jacksonville he has some high scoring playoff experience If these things happen I like the Chargers Chances big time.
Most importantly, though Enjoy today, Chargers fans. It’s been a tough few years and I know your franchise is in a solid position for the future, whatever the outcome to this game is.
Now onto Houston
The Texans have had a underwhelming season no question but that’s the good thing about the playoffs whatever happens in the regular season really doesn’t matter at this point
What the Texans need to do.
Nico Collins Has to have a day
First Ballot Hall of Famer Mike Evans lit up this Chargers defense a few weeks ago.
Nico Collins can do the same thing; it is 100% possible. A key factor comes down to the game plan of Jesse Minter and that Charger defense.
Stroud needs to target Nico early on and just see if he can get him going because if so, it’ll be a long day for Harbaugh and Co.
The Secondary
Like I stated, for the Chargers, it’s vital that Herbert can have a good day because if not, the Texans chances will increase significantly.
All I can say is that if the secondary plays well and Demeco has a good game plan, Dialed up, the Texans will probably win this game.
Joe Mixon/ The run game
Not just Joe Mixon Damien Pierce needs to get involved a little bit; he had a field day against Tennessee last week, but they need to be getting efficient gains on the ground all day in order to win.
Final Prediction
Whoever wins the running game wins this game. It’s a very hard one to predict, so whoever is controlling the line of scrimmage best will win.
